The Dutch Water Museum
An interactive museum
The Dutch Water Museum is an interactive museum where you can make a boat trip along a sewage canal and learn all there is to know about dike management, drinking-water and groundwater.

This country has a lot that makes it unique with regard to water. More than half the country lies below sea level with sailing ships rising above the landscape. The Dutch water Museum offers you the unique opportunity to learn all there is to know about water – interactively and audio-visually. Take a boat trip along a sewage canal, watch a film about water or learn about dike management, drinking-water and use of water in the Netherlands and the rest of the world. The museum is uniquely located in a historic building with an old water mill at the heart of Park Sonsbeek. The nearby waterfall boasts an attractive water play area for children.
